FIRST STEPS

Polycolor was born in S. Croce sull’Arno in 1987 from an idea of two brothers with consolidated professionalism and technical experience, achieved by working for many years in multinational chemical companies. The following year, with the entry of a new partner from Veneto, Polycolor is transformed into an Srl and broadens its horizons on national and foreign markets. Large investments are made for the purchase of machinery in order to bring the production of powder and liquid auxiliaries to the company. At the same time, a research and development laboratory is set up with the recruitment of qualified personnel.

Polycolor is a company that deals with chemical and auxiliary products for the tanning of leather in all phases: coloring, beam house, tanning, retanning and finishing. Polycolor sells chemical products to tanneries based on the Research & Development system of new items to be proposed to companies with subsequent technical assistance up to the finished product.

HEADQUARTERS AND DEPARTMENTS

The new location, modernized in 2019, allows to create a more efficient production environment, with increased workload and production performance, in order to serve customers better and faster, bringing more value to their businesses.

Also in 2019, thanks to new investments, we updated our experimental laboratory which boasts a qualified and fast technical service in the intervention and resolution of every request.
In our dyeing plant we proceed with excellent quality standards both in retanning and in the fatliquors of wet department. The production department was renovated to protect operators, with the purchase of new manipulators dedicated to limit the efforts of operators.
